Information By: RACE PRO WEEKLY – OSWEGO, NY – Just like the DIRTcar Sportsman, the driver who was fastest in practice will also lead the field to green in the feature event and that driver is Matt Sheppard.
Matt Sheppard grabbed the pole for the Super DIRTcar Series Billy Whittaker Cars 200 on Sunday with a time of 21.737. Defending Champion Mat Williamson will be right along side of him. Williamson’s time was 21.800.
The other four drivers who locked into the field on speed include Billy Decker in third (21.935), Ryan Godown in fourth (21.983), Peter Britten fifth (21.997) and Mike Mahaney in sixth (22.036).
